Jersey C.I. Coastline Photos. ( Ecrehous )
The Town is a little joke amongst local people because of the size. There about 20 exfisherman’s huts on the reef called “Marmotiere” within the archipelago area of the “Ecrehous” which is 5 miles off the east coast of Jersey lying between Jersey and France. The photo shows the “Royal Square” and the gable end of the house in front of you has a herb garden at the bottom. On the right is the “Custom Hut” where i have spent many days living in. In the background you can see the narrow paths and the low roofs. Some people say it is like a rabbit warren. If ever you have the chance to go there take it! You will always have a wonderland picture in your memory of this lovely jewel within Jersey.
